Our Lady of Kazan Russian Orthodox Church Mourns Valentina Constantinovna Kachevsky
Our Lady of Kazan Russian Orthodox Church, along with its devoted Sisterhood, deeply mourns the passing of Valentina Constantinovna Kachevsky. For many years, Valentina served with unwavering dedication as the Head Sister to Our Lady of Kazan’s Sisterhood and was a steadfast pillar of our parish community. Her commitment and spirit enriched our church immeasurably.
A Panikhida (Memorial Service) will be held on Saturday, January 31st, at 5:30pm**, followed by an All Night Vigil at Our Lady of Kazan ROC, 78 Heller Parkway, Newark, NJ 07104.
The Funeral and Burial will take place on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 11:30am, at Novo Diveevo Russian Orthodox Convent, 100 Smith Road, Nanuet, NY 10954.
Following the services, a repast will be graciously hosted by the Sisterhood of OLK at La Terrazza, 291 S Main Street, New City, NY. Valentina Constantinovna will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
