For over two decades, from 1975 to 2001, Reynolds served as the esteemed Director of Bands and Chair of the Conducting Department at the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance. An alumnus of the very program he would later lead, Reynolds was instrumental in elevating its national and international standing. His tenure was characterized by a relentless pursuit of excellence, continually raising artistic standards and expanding the program’s scope.
