Cassie Borst, a beloved resident of Hanover Park, passed away unexpectedly. She was born on November 21, 1982, to the late Cynthia Faith Borst and Daniel John Borst.
Cassie’s life was defined by the deep love she held for her family. She was a devoted life partner to Demecio Tyus. Her greatest pride and joy were her children: Adrian (Loti), Angelina, Elonah, Demecio, Grace, and Demi. She was a doting grandmother to her cherished granddaughter, Zoexelie.
She is fondly remembered by her sisters, Teena Bennett, Liz, and Christina Borst. Cassie was preceded in death by her brothers, Vincent Christopher Bennett and Daniel John Borst, Jr. She also leaves behind her dear cousins, Melissa and Marcia, and a wide circle of friends who were considered family.
Cassie’s vibrant spirit, unwavering loyalty, and nurturing heart touched countless lives. Her home was always open, and her kindness was a beacon to all who knew her. She will be profoundly missed as a mother, grandmother, partner, sister, and friend.
The family will announce plans for a memorial service to celebrate Cassie’s life at a later time. In this period of grief, they ask for privacy and hold close the memory of her amazing love and light.
