Despite immediate and extensive CPR and resuscitative efforts by those present, these measures were ultimately unsuccessful. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Dr. DeAtkine’s passing leaves an immense void in the hearts of his family, friends, colleagues, and all who knew him. His life was one dedicated to healing, service, and the care of others through his medical practice.
